2. How OCR Processing Works & Data Flow
Understanding how our OCR technology processes uploaded files:
- Transmission: When you select or drop an image (JPG, PNG, PDF, WEBP, etc.) into the converter, the file is compressed and sent via HTTPS over an encrypted TLS connection directly to our backend inference endpoint.
- In-Memory Processing: The neural vision model inspects the visual pixels in ephemeral memory buffer to identify characters, tabular cells, and layout hierarchies.
- Immediate Deletion: As soon as the optical character recognition is completed and the extracted text payload is returned to your browser session, the server memory is immediately freed. No file is retained on any local filesystem or long-term cloud storage bucket.
- No AI Training on User Files: We do not pool, store, or utilize your images, invoices, handwritten documents, or extracted text to train public artificial intelligence models.
